I am a research fellow at the Centre for Quantum Technologies at NUS. I earned my Ph.D. in quantum machine learning at IRIF (Institut de Recherche en Informatique Fondamentale, a research laboratory in Université Paris Cité). My goal is to develop state-of-the-art quantum algorithms. In my work, I identify computational bottlenecks of real-world problems and explore how quantum techniques can help.

My group is interested in the physics of many-body quantum systems out of equilibrium. Within this vast field, we look at fundamental, operational and practical questions. More specifically, for research themes closer to quantum computing, we explore quantum-inspired computing in machine learning and data science, with applications in quantum process tomography and in biology, to name a few.
